Guest Policies

 

Reservation Procedure
Reservations are taken over the phone. We will fax, email or mail your rental agreement. The property will be held for you for 7 days to provide time to return the rental agreement and your security deposit. The rental fee, including sanitation fee and taxes, are due within 90 days of your check-in date. Payment by check is preferred. For last minute booking of less than 10 days, payments must be by cashiers check. We do accept credit cards..

 

Securing Your Reservation
Upon reservation, you will be asked to make a $100 non refundable payment towards your security deposit by credit card to hold the property pending payment of the balance of the Security Deposit and other required costs.

 

Booking Fee
There is a 3% booking fee but it is waived for cash/check payments.

Refunds and Cancellation
The security deposit is required to hold your reservation and is refundable up to 90 days before the beginning of your reservation less a $100 cancelation Fee. If a cancellation is made less than 90 days you will forfeit your entire rental fee, only your security deposit and cleaning fee will be refunded. Cancellations must be in writing. If we are able to rebook the property for the same time period then all moneys paid will be refunded less the $100 cencelation fee. Trip insurance is avaiable from InsureMyTrip

Checking in/out

The check in time is for most houses after 3PM and check out time is before 10AM. In some cases we can extend this time when we do not have back to back booking and the housekeeper has serviced the house. All homes have a lock box on the front door to provide you easy access to keys.

Cleaning

Our housekeepers do a through job of cleaning the house. All floors, kitchen and bathroom surfaces are cleaned. Guests are expected to leave the home neat and organized the way they found it. Please do the dishes and clean up any obvious messes.

Security Deposits
Security deposits are refunded within 30 days. Usually they are mailed within 1 week if there are no issues.

 

Linens and Supplies
Home are rented without linens, towels, paper supplies and personal items like soap and shampoo. There is no daily maid service.

 

 

These are general policies. Your rental agreement will provide specific information for each house.
